Army Branch Insignia

Army branch insignia first came into use in 1858, for wear on a soldiers hat. Today, army branch insignia is worn on the Army Service Uniform coats. Enlisted personnel wear the disc insignia. The one disc denotes membership in a particular area of expertise and series of functional areas while the other disc has the US. The insignia with the specification goes on the left coat collar while the US disc insignia goes on the right. The officer rank does not have a disc. Most officers choose to wear the officer branch insignia on both sides of the collar. Our army branch insignia is made in the USA and is official military issue. Be inspection ready or create the perfect shadow box with our regulation insignia.
