Precisely what I was in the market for! A bomber ‘… without any batting inside; only the nylon outer layers, basically a windbreaker.’ Thin enough for moderately cool nights or to wear indoors when moderately cool, yet roomy enough to pop a hoodie on under before it’s cool enough to break out the bomber WITH batting. I totally recommend these if you’re looking for a nylon shell, no batting, windbreaker-like option. Oh. Water repellency has been great so far up to middling rainfall. Haven’t worn it in a downpour yet. FIT: I'm a beer bellied 5’9” 285ish lb. broadly built dude and the 3XL fits just about right. I carry it all in the front and zipped it’s just right so long as I don’t raise my arms. I’ll be ordering a 4XL cold weather one soon to ensure a good fit and fully expect it to be spot on. I found the size chart to be accurate.

This "jacket" came without any batting inside; only the nylon outer layers. Its basically a windbreaker.
