The Ontario 12" Cutlass Machete features a full tang 1095 Carbon steel blade with a zinc phosphate finish giving this machete durability, strength and longevity. The Machete features a plain edge, .125" thick blade with a Rockwell Hardness Rating of 52-55 HRC. The high impact polymer handle is shatterproof and is tightly held by steel compression rivets. The Cutlass Machete is 17.7" in overall length. The 12" Traditional Cutlass Machete is not only an ideal camping tool, it works flawlessly for brush cutting and clearing.Traditional Cutlass Machete are made in the USA.
