Sleeping Bag Special Features

The sleeping bag mode of the US Army Woobie is especially clever:

  • The zippers are designed to zip two Woobies together into one so that you can sleep two people and combine body heat in an emergency survival situation.
  • Double sets of pull tabs let you zip or unzip the Woobie from inside or outside the sleeping bag — no need to fumble around.

The zipper design gives you the option of leaving the bottom of the sleeping bag open, forming a “tube” shape so that you can use the Woobie as a sleeping bag with your military socks and boots on. This is useful if you need to preserve your mobility or don’t want to deal with taking your boots off.
