The Woobie is a highly versatile piece of Army field gear, pulling triple duty:
If you’ll be out in the backcountry, the US Army Woobie 3 in 1 Survival Blanket is an important inclusion in your camping and survival gear loadout. It is lightweight for the warmth and coverage it provides, and fits unobtrusively in your bag or pack.
The sleeping bag mode of the US Army Woobie is especially clever:
The zipper design gives you the option of leaving the bottom of the sleeping bag open, forming a “tube” shape so that you can use the Woobie as a sleeping bag with your military socks and boots on. This is useful if you need to preserve your mobility or don’t want to deal with taking your boots off.
