The kit arrived after a couple weeks, and was well packaged. Despite the rod assembly and patch holder being parkerized, there was some very faint rust reside on them. After wiping down with a paper towel and applying a thin coat of gun oil they are good to go. I also filled the bottle with some CLP and then had to figure out the Tetris puzzle required to get everything to fit inside the buttstock. He trick is to put the rods and brush in first, then the bore brush down into the “sock” alongside the brush and then the chamber brush inside but up higher where the sock is tapered out wider. Then fold the excess flap over the sock and stuff it down into the stock cavity. I then brushed the tightly sealed bottle in, tip first and then the patches on top of everything. Wi5 the rifle stored muzzle up, the CLP “shouldn’t” leak out.
