In general, guerrilla warfare is characterized as offensive action. Guerrillas rely upon mobility, elusiveness and surprise. U.S. Special Forces provide training, weapons and liaison to the U.S. Government and liberation conventional forces. This manual outlines who will work against the enemy and why. How to enlist natives to the area to work against the enemy. Sections included deal with stealth, counter intelligence, disruption of enemy movements and lines of communication. Many diagrams are shown for plans of attack, disbursement of forces for a raid, guerrilla support for a full scale penetration of enemy positions and amphibious attacks. Also you will find diagrams for security of guerrilla bases, how to repeat attack, what to do if encircled, how to break out of encirclement and what to do if breakout fails. This manual is a must for the clandestine operative!
