These socks developed ragged holes (in the heels and toes) with only ONE WEEK of wear. Worst, cheapest excuse for socks I've ever seen. Terrible. DO NOT waste your money.

First, any product that is commercially marketed as "Government Issue" is NOT government issue, as a rule. But I knew that when I ordered these. At $6.00 a pair, they're way overpriced (I can get a bundle of 12 pairs of Gold Toe socks for $15). The quality of these Rothcos is not high-end, but they're about as durable as Dickies work socks, so they should last about a year with regular wear. I bought these mainly for the color, olive drab, which is a hard color to find in socks.

These socks are Rothco brand THIN wanna-be "military" socks. I happen to be a U.S. Army veteran, and I can assure you we were NEVER ISSUED such thin, inferior quality socks. Not to mention Rothco is not a government contractor for their uniforms. Rothco is wanna-be replicated apparel and gear, NOT "authentic". Nice try.....
