    New, clean, didn’t stink of old latex and tobacco. I’ll likely need to rough it up a bit with some sandpaper or steel wool, but hey, that’s no big deal.

    I had the old metal and the plastic while in the Army. The use of the plastic canteen was better, it didn't have the metal taste in the water after it set for awhile. Enjoying it.

    I bought these for my kids for Christmas and then ordered more for my nephews and nieces. No leaking and kids play army with them all the time. They are just as I expected them to be. No complaints!
