I am using this with a Gerber e-tool folding spade. It fits perfectly and I would imagine that it will last a long time. I take this on atv trips so I wanted something that would keep my spade from flying around in my pack and I didn't want to put it back dirty and have dirt flung everywhere. I would buy again!
