I recently purchased this shovel with a carrying bag. Shovel was good (could have done without without the re-paint cause it was tacky to the touch). The bag on the other hand was in poor condition. It had holes on the bottom. I just wish the bag was in a better condition. I ended up throwing it away.

Overall pretty good. A little more used than expected but still good. All edges were sharp, a little clean up and some CLP sprayed on the joints and threads made it good to go!!

Be cautious about purchasing this item used. Based on other reviews, it seems there is a broad range in the condition of these used trench shovels. The specific one that I received is on the low end of this spectrum with excessive wear and in poor condition—showing obvious rust and pitting of the metal. The deterioration is to the point that I could not recondition it if I wanted. I am disappointed.
