These are very similar to the one item I have of WWII origin that belonged to one of my late uncles whom served with AVG/14th Air Force in CBI. This newer design is slightly different with more pointed wings, versus the rounded ones of that era, but close to same size and of excellent quality manufacture. I'm pleased with my purchase and now have the extra copies to wear on hats and other gear. GDB
