I cant imagine a better machete. Made in the USA, makes all the difference!! I have been using this hard for the past year or so and it is tough! I have even cut down small doug fir trees up to 2-3 inches in diameter. The blade is strong and durable, The handle feels weird at first due to the squareness of it but i suggest not modifying. The shape actually really helps with keeping a good grip and I got used to it after a few uses. Wearing a pair of thin gardening gloves is about all you need.
