The HESCO 4601 plate set is built for customers who need dependable Level IV protection in a plate that is still manageable for serious use. Sold as a set, these ballistic plates are designed for plate carriers, tactical setups, and protective gear loadouts where certified armor matters.
Each HESCO 4601 Level IV plate is listed as a standalone NIJ Certified Level IV plate. That means it does not require a separate soft armor backer to meet its listed protection level, giving military members, law enforcement personnel, security professionals, and prepared civilians a cleaner armor setup.
The HESCO 4601 is one of the lighter NIJ-listed Level IV plates on the product page, with each plate listed at 6.4 pounds. The full plate set is listed at 15 pounds, depending on selected size and configuration.
Available armor-size options include SAPI cuts in 8.75 x 11.75 inches, 9.50 x 12.50 inches, 10.25 x 13.25 inches, and 11.00 x 14.00 inches. Shooter cut options include 8.0 x 10.0 inches and 10.0 x 12.0 inches.
This HESCO 4601 Level IV plate set is a special-order item and is only sold in sets. Lead times are listed at 30 to 60 days, though Army Surplus World may try to keep some 10 x 12 options on hand when available.
Please note that armor purchases are nonrefundable and cannot be shipped outside the United States without proper export licenses. The front logo may or may not appear on the plate.
The HESCO 4601 plate set offers certified protection, multiple sizing options, and a practical standalone design for serious protective setups.
Pair your HESCO 4601 Level IV plate set with a compatible plate carrier, additional ballistic plates, or other tactical gear from Army Surplus World. You can also browse HESCO products to compare other armor options.
