The Republic of Vietnam Civil Action Unit Citation was a decoration presented by the government of South Vietnam to recognize a units outstanding civic service to the state or civil service of great asset to the South Vietnamese cause. U.S. military units who were eligible for this award generally participated in local police activity to contain civil unrest in areas of South Vietnam. The 1st Class medal is awarded to officers and the 2nd Class medal is awarded to non-commissioned officers and enlisted men. This frame is for service members of the Army.
