The Army NCO Professional Development ribbon is a service ribbon issued by the U.S. Army for completion of any Non-Commissioned Officer Development Course. There are currently 4 approved courses, a 5th course was previously authorized, but is now obsolete. That course was the 1st Sergeants Course. The approved courses are: • Warrior Leader Course • Advanced Leaders Course • Senior Leaders Course • Sergeant's Major Course When an additional course is completed, a bronze numeral is worn on the service ribbon to denote the number of courses completed. This is a ribbon only award.
