Decent canteen, perfect for bringing my drinking water to my job. Fits nicely in pouches of my Alice pack.
It's brand new, what more do you want? I have not calibrated the actual volume, but appears to be a quart. Have yet to fill and rinse, so no info on "plasticky taste", but it is brand new.

A perfect replacement for my old canteens which got destroyed over 20 plus years of use. Hopefully these will be as good as my old ones so far the quality of them is all there. Plus they don't have old coffee and tea residue like my old ones did. I use canteens not just for camping and airsofting but also to keep old coffee and tea in my refridgerator so I can drink it cold as well as for putting in my bag to bring water for work. Canteens really do come in handy.
Outstanding service & product
I am happy with this company. One of the GOOD things about Houston, TX. The canteens come with the solid cap, not the NBC compatible cap. There are little molding "wings" near the spout that can be scraped off with a knife. I'm a perfectionist sometimes. Good and NEW. You don't have to worry about what was in it before. I would buy this canteen again .
