This is actually the second set I bought because my son outgrew the first one and asked for another set. Great quality. He plays very rough and these never ripped or tore. Highly recommend!
We initially bought this when shopping for a Halloween costume. It was more than we would usually spend, but my son has been really into all things military, so we splurged thinking he would wear it for more than just one night. It was worth every cent. It is made of a cotton/poly blend that has the feel of a lightweight canvas or denim. It is STURDY. My son is typically a size 8, but we got the 10/12 to try and get maximum use. Very glad we did. The waistband has stays that allow you to take it in a bit, but no elastic, so if you are between sizes go up. The jacket fits as expected, though the arm length seems a bit short for the size. Fits my size 8 son perfectly now. Not enough to worry about, and there is room to let them out if needed. The hat is made from the same material as the clothes and has a fully adjustable Velcro closure. My son couldn’t be happier and I feel like he has an real outfit that will last him a couple years. That’s a winner! Lastly, I have to add that shipping was exceptional. I ordered on Friday morning, and even with personalized embroidery, it was shipped Friday afternoon and we had it by Sunday afternoon. That is great service.
