I haven't been without a P-38 since I was first "introduced" to one while in the Army back in the early 70's. I ate many a X-ray and the P-38 was an essential if you wanted to eat. I still carry one on my key chain that I have had since 1972 and it works as good today as it did back then. I gave one to my Son and he loves it. I'm ordering 10 and I will pass some out to Family and friends. My Grandkids are fascinated with them and enjoy showing their friends how they work.

Issued to me in the Army 1985 and still use it today. Dad got his in Vietnam and we used it as kids; not sure where his ended up

P38 The Army's greatest invention. I definitely agree with that. I've had P38's on key rings since I was 9 years old. I've used them as flat screwdrivers, used it to pry open paint cans, opened quite a few cans of raviolli and meatball spagetti with them, and many other uses. The handiest thing on my key ring. I don't leave home without it.
