The used M65 woodland camo field jacket was even better than I expected! When it arrived and I unpacked it from the box, I thought it was a brand new unissued jacket but after closer inspection I determined that it had been issued and used very very lightly. I couldn't be more pleased with it! The price was definitely worth it!

Having several different outdoor clothing types, including ECWCS II, the M-65 Field Jacket is still one of the best jackets in existence for most conditions. In particular, these used, American made, genuine issue jackets in Woodland Camouflage are in flawless, as-new condition. Whoever wore them last took care of them, and they were stored well. Mine had a garbage bag, a drawstring, and a set of earplugs in the pocket (unused), so it looks like they were issued, but otherwise one would not be able to tell. Others I purchased for my sons have unit patches, etc. A little wrinkled and smelling like they have been in a warehouse for 30 years, I washed mine in Warm water on a delicates cycle, then air-dried them in the tumbler and hung it until completely dry. The M-65 Filed Jacket with 50-50% NyCo material is perfect from the upper 60's (deg. F) into the 40's. For anything colder, purchase a surplus M-65 polyester liner. I have not tested down past the 30's yet, but am confident with the separate liner buttoned-in the jacket would be good into at least the teens. Polyester liner is stifling in warmer weather, but easy to remove and pack. Perfect camping jacket for most conditions. Good water resistance, but not a rain coat. The hood under the zipper is a definite plus, and have used it camping to help sleep in cool and damp conditions in the mountains. A classic piece of authentic, proudly made in the USA- for our troops clothing that looks and functions great; AND, a great find from Armysurplusworld.com because these are getting more difficult to source in the popular Woodland Camo, and in this condition. At $49, it is an excellent bargain.

This is a giveaway price for these. Perfect condition, almost brand new - only the patches give that away. Size is spot on. I'm an extra large, long arms n legs. Bought XL long and it's little long in the arm for general wear (for me) but it's perfect length for riding around on a tractor with hands in the whee and keeping wrists warm n dry.l.
