I've put them through a lot of tactical and search and rescue training that required pushing, pulling, grabbing, and dexterity. They hold up, even though they are for more delicate work. They aren't for warmth, but I've used them as liners. The wrist area can be folder forward if they get hot. I like that they cover my watch.
